About our Centre
Mudgeeraba is located on the edges of the glamorous Gold Coast and situated invitingly at the bottom of the beautiful hinterland. At Mudgeeraba Early Childhood Centre, our partnership with families starts before their first day. From your first contact with us we want to know your family and understand your needs to support a smooth transition based upon belonging and trust. We value the input of our families and our community in the curriculum and policy decisions of the centre.
We value that children are capable, unique individuals and therefore should be treated with respect, dignity and equity. We believe early childhood education is the foundation for lifelong learning and provide a safe, supportive environment which caters for children's holistic development. We embrace our differences including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
Our Team
Our Team of Educators at Mudgeeraba have made this their home, and with many of them being here over 10 years they become an extended part of the children’s lives that come through our centre.
We believe that quality interactions with educators and peers will facilitate experiences that empower children to develop strategies for active exploration, thinking and reasoning as they grow to become confident and competent learners. Our aim is to encourage children to promote a positive and proactive approach towards the environment and a sustainable future and we look forward to you joining the family at our Centre.
Kindergarten Program
Our centre offers both a government approved kindergarten program run by a teacher and long day care, all under the one roof. Our kindergarten teachers are university qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.
Child Care Subsidy (CCS)
Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a Government payment to help eligible families who use approved and registered child care, such as all Global Sky Education centres. CCS payments help eligible families reduce their weekly payments and can also help make child care more affordable for families. My name is Cassie and I am the Centre Manager at Mudgeeraba Early Childhood Centre. I have been working in the early childhood industry for over 16 years and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Education – Early Childhood & Primary, at Southern Cross University.
I believe in providing children with the highest quality care and implementing programs and environments that reflects both individual and group needs as well as promoting each child’s interests, culture, learning, development, and individuality through play.
I believe it is essential for children to learn and develop in an environment where they, along with families, feel a sense of belonging.
I believe that families are a fundamental part of a child’s learning process, we encourage all families to provide feedback and input on all aspects of the centre including your child’s development, programming and planning.
