About our Centre

Previously the John Knox Presbyterian church and schoolhouse built in the 1850’s and now heritage listed, we are proud of ‘our home’ set amidst the history of Morphett Vale.

 

Located in the southern suburbs of Adelaide close to main roads and shopping strips, public transport provides easy access to our service. We are also just a stone’s throw to the southern beaches of Port Noarlunga and the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula.

 

Our educational program incorporates the Early Years Learning Framework providing children with opportunities to learn and develop in their own way.

Our Early Childhood Teachers mentor the team in providing quality education and care for all children within our centre, in addition to running our Universal Access program focussing on children transitioning to school.

We are available for your childcare needs Monday to Friday, 52 weeks a year for your convenience (excluding public holidays).

Our Team

Our highly skilled educators hold a variety of qualifications and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with you and your children.

Mindful of the role we can play in developing our workforce we also encourage students and trainees to complete practical placements within our service.

 

Our team participate in a variety of professional development opportunities and training relevant to the sector and regularly reflect on our knowledge and understanding around current theories and practices all the while implementing changes within the service to align.

Kindergarten Program

Our centre offers both a government approved kindergarten program run by a teacher and long day care, all under the one roof. Our kindergarten teachers are university qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.

Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a Government payment to help eligible families who use approved and registered child care, such as all Global Sky Education centres. CCS payments help eligible families reduce their weekly payments and can also help make child care more affordable for families.
